What Are Job Tags?


Think of job tags as the secret weapon for your job posting organization. Whether your jobs are online or offline, department-specific, or in "awaiting approval" limbo, job tags help you keep everything in its place. The possibilities for using job tags are as vast as your creativity—go ahead and channel that inner organizational guru!


How to Create Job Tags


Job tags are user-defined, which means you have full control. If you have Manager, Admin, or Account Owner access, you’re in luck—you can create, edit, and manage job tags like a pro. Here’s how:


From the Dashboard:

  • Navigate to your dashboard.
  • Spot the job tile where you want to add a tag and click on the ticket icon (hint: it’s in the top right corner of the tile).

     
  • A pop-up window will appear. Here, you can create or edit job tags to your heart’s content.
     


From the Create Job Page

  • Go to your dashboard and select Create a New Job.
  • Scroll down until you find the Tags field.
  • Start typing your desired tags. They can be single words or complete phrases—whatever suits your needs.
  • Once done, press TAB, RETURN, or ENTER to lock in each tag.
  • Add as many tags as you need for your job posting, and don’t forget to save your changes!


Filtering by Job Tags


Ready to flex those new job tags? Filtering your job list is a breeze:


  • Go to the dashboard and click the filter button in the top left of the job grid.
     
  • Select the tags you want from the dropdown menu.
     
  • Watch as the dashboard magically updates your job view in real-time.

Bonus Feature: Your ATS will remember your filter settings, so next time you come back, your custom view will still be there waiting. To clear the filters and start fresh, click the reset button at the top of the filter modal.
