If jobs from your ATS site don’t appear on the right Indeed Company Page, it’s likely a "source" issue. This can happen with multisite accounts, especially when jobs from child sites need to link to a parent Company Page. But don’t worry—it’s a quick and easy fix!
Here’s an example:
A user from Acme Restaurant Group noticed that jobs from their Tony's Pizza site (one of their child site) weren’t appearing on the Acme Restaurant Group Indeed Company Page (the parent site). During a support call with Indeed, they discovered the issue: Acme Restaurant Group belongs to a small group of multisite accounts where jobs from child sites must be manually linked to the parent Indeed Company Page.
Here’s why this happens: When Indeed receives job data, it uses the company name listed as the source to determine which Indeed Company Page the jobs should appear on. In this case, the child site’s name (Tony's Pizza) didn’t match the parent Company Page name (Acme Restaurant Group), so the jobs weren’t automatically linked to the correct page. A manual adjustment was needed to connect the two.
How the Issue Was Fixed:
The Indeed representative resolved the issue quickly by:
- Identifying the missing jobs and verifying they were tied to a child site.
- Adding a source to the parent Company Page to link the jobs from the child site correctly.
- Confirming the jobs were displaying properly. In fact, the change was live by the end of their call!
What to Do If This Happens to You:
If your jobs aren’t showing up on the correct Indeed Company Page, here’s how to get things back on track:
- Reach out to Indeed directly. The user listed as the account owner for the Indeed Company Page should call Indeed’s support team. NOTE: They will not accept calls from ATS Support Agents or Recruiters, so please make sure you have the right person make the call. Here's how to Contact Indeed.
- Explain the issue clearly: Let Indeed know that you’re part of a multisite account and that jobs from your ATS child site need to be displayed on the parent Company Page. Emphasize that you use a multisite setup to differentiate between locations or departments (for instance). If you do not work as a Recruiter, please make sure you don't misrepresent yourself as one, as that could disqualify you from free job listings.
- Request the source be added to the Parent Site. This step links your jobs to the right page and resolves the issue.
Indeed’s team can make the change quickly, so your jobs should display correctly within minutes.
Pro Tip: If this is a recurring issue or you manage multiple child sites, it’s worth confirming with Indeed that all necessary sources are set up correctly for future job postings.
We hope this helps resolve any issues with job visibility on Indeed! If you have questions or run into roadblocks, don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team. We’re here to help every step of the way!
