IMPORTANT NOTE: LinkedIn is implementing significant changes to its free listings service, and while we’re unsure how long this option will remain available, we’ll keep your free listings posted for as long as LinkedIn permits. Please keep in mind that this could change at any time and is entirely at the mercy of LinkedIn's policy.

Increasing exposure for your job is one of our main priorities, and one of the ways you can increase traffic is by linking your job to your Company's LinkedIn Page. Here's how you make the magic happen:

Step 1: From your Dashboard, select the link under the Distribution Column. It should read "Free Only" if you have your job distributed to Free Job Boards or "Active Paid Posting" if you've selected any job sponsorship opportunities.
NOTE: If your job is not being distributed to any job boards, this link will read as "None". If your job is offline, you must put it online before you can add job advertisements to it.

Step 2: Scroll down to LinkedIn Limited. It should look like this:

Step 3: Click on the shopping cart icon on the upper right.

Then proceed to Checkout.

Step 4: Find out your LinkedIn Company ID (more info on that can be found HERE) and fill in:
  1. your Industry Code,
  2. your Workplace Policy (will the job be Remote, Hybrid, or Onsite), and
  3. your LinkedIn Company ID*.

Then Review the Final Summary and Purchase your ZERO DOLLAR transaction. If it claims you owe money, back up. You've selected the paid sponsorship, not the Limited. You should owe no money.

*Your LinkedIn ID will be a series of numbers, not your company URL on LinkedIn. When logged in as a manager, it will look something like this: https://www.linkedin.com/company/#######/admin/ where the ####### will be replaced with your company's unique ID. Please only enter the numbers and not the whole URL.

Once you finish checking out, your job will now be directed to the correct LinkedIn account and should be updated within 24 hours. We recommend you do this step for every job you post, though the system should remember your settings, so all you'll have to do is run through these steps quickly on subsequent postings.

If you have a job that you'd rather NOT send to LinkedIn but have already completed these steps, you can add the hashtag #LI-DNI somewhere in the job description. This will indicate to the LinkedIn bots to ignore this job and it will never be posted on LinkedIn.

More tips on Finding Your LinkedIn Company ID:

From the Main LinkedIn Page

From www.linkedin.com look for your photo in the upper right of the page where it says "Me"

Then use the drop-down arrow to navigate to Manage > Company

This will bring you to your Company Page. The LinkedIn company ID is the set of numbers (approx 6-9 digits) after "/company/" in the URL.

If your Company has active jobs

Please pop over to LinkedIn about how to locate the Company ID using your active jobs. That article can be found HERE under the section titled, "What is a LinkedIn Company ID, and where do I find it?"

If you are not an Admin for your Company's LinkedIn Page

This number is only visible (in most cases) to those assigned as Admins for the Company. If you are not an Admin, please reach out to someone on your team who is, so that they can locate that number for you. Our Support Team will be happy to help in any way we can, but we may not be able to locate that number on your behalf. Please let us know if we can help!
